Serena Williams has been dating her tennis trainer for while now, and they displayed their romantic status publically last year which sparked some controversy.
The U.S. Open champion's new boo is actually a married man with kids, and her arch-nemesis is taking advantage of putting her on blast for it.
During a press conference, Maria Sharapova recently said of Serena and her new relationship:
"Obviously I have a tremendous amount of respect for Serena and what she's achieved on the court. If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids. Talk about other things, but not draw attention to other things." Click to read more.
This doesn't look too good for Serena, even though she hasn't confirmed their relationship just yet.
So what seemed to spark tension with Maria and Serena?
It was most likely the comment that she made in her most recent Rolling Stones interview where she said of Maria:
"There are people who live, breathe and dress tennis. I mean, seriously, give it a rest." Serena exits the car and the conversation moves on to a top-five player who is now in love. "She begins every interview with 'I'm so happy. I'm so lucky'—it's so boring," says Serena in a loud voice. "She's still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And, hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it."
I don`t think these two will be making up anytime soon. This is harsh.
Is she? I don't think so. Serena is getting alot this week.
