Shocking: Mother Tries to Sell Baby on the Internet for £150,000.

A young mother from Bradford, England claims the suffers from post natal depression after Child Protection paid her a visit for trying to sell her four-month-old boy on the internet for £150,000. The 20-year-old advertised the ‘beautiful’ baby for sale on the Gumtree classifieds website on Boxing Day.

Police and social services were alerted after scores of people saw the ad and dialed 999. She was immediately traced and Social Services took the child and his two-year-old brother into care. In her defence, she said the advert was just a ‘silly joke’ that backfired.

She might actually need help though because this is very uncharacteristic of a mother.
