Oba Of Benin Loses First Wife,Queen Esther Of Benin Kingdom.

The first wife of the Oba of Benin Queen Esther Erediauwa (Nee Osunbor), it was gathered  that she died at about 8pm on Saturday after a brief illness. She has been down with diabetes for some time which was said to have deteriorated since last December. She  has been receiving treatment from medical experts.

  It was observed that people were trooping to their family house at Omoruyi Street off Sakpoba Road, Benin City when the news broke.
 There is no official statement yet from the palace as at the time of filing this report.
