Madonna posted a party pic on her Instagram on Sunday showing her son Rocco Ritchie and his two friends each clutching a bottle of alcohol.
13-year-old Rocco is holding a bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin while his two pals are each holding a bottle of Belvedere vodka in the photo captioned, "The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014." The Die Another Day singer has come under fire for posting the photo of the underage lads posing with alcohol. However, Madonna insists her son wasn't actually drinking any alcohol during the party.
"No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgement!" she wrote.
Madonna is currently holidaying with her family, skiing in Gstaad, Switzerland, where the legal drinking age is 16.Madonna also raises Lourdes, 17, and adopted David Banda and Mercy James, both eight, and has previously admitted she wishes she were a tougher parent.
She said, "I think I am [tough], but honestly I don't think I'm as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher. It's hard though. Everyday is a negotiation."
Maybe they were just posing with the bottle. My frds and I use to do that alot. We never drank any of them.
