Spot The Difference:Vanity Fair Face Allegations Of Whitening Lupita Nyong 'O's Skin Color.

VANITY Fair magazine has come under fire for allegedly lightening the skin of one of Hollywood's fastest-rising stars, 12 Years A Slave actor Lupita Nyong'o.
The difference is Obvious! I don't know why they always do this.
The 30-year-old newcomer is nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at this year's Oscars, and Vanity Fair has capitalised on the buzz around her by including her in the 'Vanities' section of its February issue.
But when Vanity Fair tweeted a sneak peek of the shoot this week, the magazine was met with a firestorm of criticism.

Nyong'o isn't the first African American celebrity to find herself in this situation. Beyonce has been at the centre of skin-lightening allegations several times, in everything from L'Oreal ad campaigns to her own promotional pictures. In 2010, Elle Magazine faced allegations of whitewashing over its pictures of Precious star Gabourey Sidibe.
The controversy extends to celebrities of other ethnicities, too - Elle Magazine came under fire that same year over its bleached-out cover picture of Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

This is not cool though. What do you think?
