Actor Idris Elba splits from Naiyana Garth after night with Supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Idris Elba has had an undeniably successful career as an actor and is currently experiencing a high point in that regard. He has both been nominated for and won many awards. Among 43-year-old Elba’s recent awards are two Screen Actors Guild Awards, one for his role as Commandant in Beasts of No Nation and one for his role as DCI John Luther in Luther.
Today, Idris finds his name in the headlines, however, for his split from his girlfriend of two-and-a-half years and the mother of his 22-month-old son, Naiyana Garth.

As Yahoo! reports, it’s a break that doesn’t come as a complete surprise as Elba was spotted leaving the 1 Oak nightclub with Naomi Campbell last week. Elba and Naomi reportedly became friends following a charity event for Fashion For Relief in 2014. The absence of Garth at the SAG Awards was also noted and raised questions regarding the status of their relationship. Idris took his 13-year-old daughter Isan to that ceremony. Viewers and fans also noticed that Elba did not mention Garth in his SAG Awards acceptance speech. Naiyana was also absent from the ceremony for the British Film Awards Sunday.

Idris received a Best Actor award for his Beast of No Nation performance at that ceremony.
Elba moved out of the apartment he shared with Naiyana and their son Winston this past weekend, according to a report from Daily Mail. He didn’t move far though and is now living in an apartment that is near Winston and and Naiyana so he can stay involved in his child’s life.
