Court Adjourns Patience Jonathan's Damages Case Against EFCC - She Wants Her N7.5billion Back And N100billion Damages

The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos today has adjourned a suit brought by former first lady Patience Jonathan against the EFCC to March 6 as she seeks to un-freeze her bank accounts.

Mrs. Jonathan had filed the suit suing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after the agency froze her bank accounts containing $15 million (N7.5billion). She is also demanding $200 million in damages. The case was adjourned after the defence team requested more time from the judge to study the case.
