Its A Lai: Minister For Information Lai Mohammed Repudiates Claims He Said Buhari's Arrival Was Hampered By Faulty Air Craft

Nigeria’s Minister  of Information and Culture,Lai Mohammed disowned a report which claimed he said President Muhammadu Buhari’s return “may be hampered by a faulty aircraft.”

Speaking through through his media aid: Segun Adeyemi, the minister said he did not speak on Buhari’s return to anyone.

The statement said, “Our attention has been drawn to a report quoting the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, as saying the President’s return to Nigeria may be hampered by a faulty aircraft. Whatever the statement, there has been a delay. You are the minister for Information and no sufficient information is coming through.

President Buhari has asked the National Assembly to extend his vacation in UK and that information is what is causing a lot of agitation in Abuja. We pray for our President for a safe recovery and imminent return because whether we like it or not, he remains our President and needs our prayers.
