But as Adele picked an ensemble to collect her MBE from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, she decided to play it safe and stick to her signature style in a Stella McCartney long-sleeved tea dress.

However, Adele did add a quirky twist to her look by wearing her strawberry blonde hair up in a beehive, accessorised with a Philip Treacy veiled headband.
