Embracing Black Nativity? Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue Honours Julia Roberts, Lupita Nyong'O, George Clooney,Chiwetel Ejiofor,Idris Elba & More.

The times are definitely changing, and talent in Black Hollywood can’t be denied. Its our time!
Back in 2010, Vanity Fair caught all types of flack when they released their “Hollywood It Girls” cover, which celebrated actresses on the rise. There wasn’t a single black actress that VF thought deserved a cover back then, and the next year, when they released their annual Hollywood Issue, black actresses were omitted from the cover once again.Sigh...

This year, for Vanity Fair’s 20th Annual Hollywood issue, black actors Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lupita Nyong’o, Idris Elba, Michael B. Jordan, Naomie Harris and Chadwick Boseman are all featured on the cover and fold out, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. They are joined by esteemed actors George Clooney, Jared Leto, Julia Roberts, Brie Larson, Margot Robbie, and Léa Seydoux.
