Simon Cowell has become a father for the first time after Lauren Silverman welcomed a baby boy into the world on Valentine's Day. The 54-year-old music mogul's girlfriend gave birth to the couple's first son in New York City at 17.45 EST, weighing 6lbs 7oz. Simon revealed on Twitter hours after the birth that he had named the child after his own deceased father Eric Cowell.
