'My Mother Lied to Me' Tyler Perry is Angry and Searching For Real Father After DNA Test Confirmed Perry Senior Isn't Biological Father.

Tyler Perry has opened up about a family secret that has stayed hidden for so many years until now that the man who raised him, Emmitt Perry, Sr., is not his biological father and that he is very angry because him mother lied to him about the true identity of his biological father.

"I love my mother to death but she lied to me," he said. Perry added that he always suspected Perry, Sr. wasn't his real father because of the abuse that he inflicted on him when he was young which made him contemplate suicide at the young age of 10. Perry is now encouraging parents about the importance of telling children the truth.  Tyler Perry only found out after taking a DNA test with his brother, which revealed that they did not have the same father. He then took a test with Perry, Sr., confirming what he already suspected.

Perry says the search for his real father continues.
