Russia 'Suspended' From Elite G8

In the recent meeting in Amsterdam by the now G7 formerly G8, a decision was made unanimously to suspend Russia from the elite G8 group of leading economies. The decision was made after Russia decided to invade Crimea and said they could not accept its breach of international law. David Cameron, Barack Obama and other world leaders said it was up to Vladimir Putin to 'change course' over Ukraine or his country will remain excluded indefinitely.

Britain, US, Germany, France, Italy, Canada and Japan, the remaining countries of the super rich countries of G8 are calling themselves the G7 now, have agreed to meet again without Russia until it was ready to engage in 'meaningful discussion'.
