This is the horrifying moment a Chinese man wielding a kitchen knife attacked pupils at a primary school in China, injuring eight children.
Shocking CCTV images have been released of the attack, which show the man chasing young children with what looks to be a meat cleaver. The government of Macheng city in Hubei province said the man, identified as 35-year-old Chen Zuihang, was arrested following the attack. The motive for the attack is still unclear.
A statement from police said the injured schoolchildren are now being treated in hospital and an investigation has been opened to ascertain the man's motive.
