Is Austin Ejide Culpable in The Match Fixing Saga? Watch Video

Before the match between Nigeria and Scotland even started, it had been marred by match fixing scandal when the National Crime Agency launched an investigation saying there were talks of Match fixing between some parties. Well, Nigerian coach Steven Keshi was quick to defend his players saying:

"We did [talk about it] because it's something ridiculous, something that we don't know where it's coming from," said Keshi, who is preparing for the World Cup finals, We're not gamblers, we are football players. I don't even know where that is coming from, we don't know what happened, match-fixing or no match-fixing, This is the first time I've been a coach or been a player and the first time I'm hearing this, match-fixing. I don't think it had anything to do with our build-up or the game."

While i support the idea that the match fixing allegation is false because, if you Put Nigeria's full team any day against Scotland, the comfortable Winner would be Nigeria, but Goalie Austin Ejide did little to help his team mate deflect that allegation. Despite the goal being disallowed for foul on the keeper, his left hand sure moved awkwardly or didn't it?
