Good New!!! This came just in time for Nigeria's bid to participate in the U-20 FIFA Women's World Cup, as well as the male African U-17 Championship qualifier this weekend. The football governing body FIFA has lifted an International match ban it placed on the country after the Nigerian government went against its policy by interfering in the crisis which rocked the Nigeria Football Federation after the Aminu Maigari-led board was sacked on July 6th.
The Amos Adamu-led lobby team sent to FIFA by sports minister Dr. Tammy submitted a proposal and met FIFA's requirements which resulted in the ban being lifted.
