There was the $6 million man, the $10 million bra. Now there are the $2 million shoes.

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon decided to bring a bit of bling to the show's finale by donning some seriously fancy footwear.

The custom Tom Ford loafers, dubbed the "Most Valuable Pair of Shoes" in the world by the Guinness World Records book, took more than 2000 hours to make and have 14,000 full-cut round white diamonds fixed on white gold

"Not very often do I get a request for the most expensive shoes in the world," designer Jason Arasheben told Women's Wear Daily of the 340-carat diamond shoes. "When Nick approached me last year, he said he wanted to make history and be so over-the-top. I'm expecting a 'wow' factor."
Cannon, 33, uploaded a shot of the shoes to his Instagram account with the caption: "Who knew 2 Million Dollars could shine so bright?!"


The TV personality is married to Mariah Carey, 44, and the couple have three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

It emerged last month that the couple's marriage was in trouble, with reports that they had been living separately for several months.

It is also being reported that Carey, who has been married to Cannon for six years, has begun divorce proceedings.

Cannon has vehemently denied the claims, but admitted they have been experiencing a "challenging" time in their relationship.
