Big Congrats to Nigeria’s richest man and mega entrepreneur Aliko Dangote as he’s been named the Forbes Person of The Year.
He beat out fellow Nigerian Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie & 3 others for the awards. The other finalists were Arunma Oteh (Nigeria) the director-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thuli Madonsela (South Africa) and Donald Kaberuka (Rwanda) President of the African Development Bank.
The award was announced in Nairobi, Kenya and in his speech he dedicated the award to Nigeria, and indicated how proud he is that he’s African.
