Katsina state Commissioner of police is dead.

The Katsina State commissioner of Police, Alhaji Muhammad Hurdi, is dead, the Force has announced.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Sadiq made the announcement in a statement issued to journalists on Sunday, March 29.
According to the statement, Hurdi died on the eve of Nigeria’s 2015 Presidential election, March 27 after a protracted illness.

The PPRO said that Hurdi would be remembered as a patriotic and dedicated officer who gave his best in the service of his fatherland.
