Lewis Hamilton to sign record deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation. Nicole, Where You At?

The 30-year-old star has reportedly been in talks with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label about signing a record deal. HE'S the world champion when it comes to driving cars, but it seems that Lewis Hamilton is really keen to kickstart his career in music too.

The British Formula One driver has made no secret of the fact that he spends a lot of time in his home studio making music, singing and producing, but he's yet to actually release anything.

"Lewis has been talking to a few music industry figures about his music, including Jay Z’s Roc Nation team,
" a music insider told The Sun.

"'It’s early days but it looks more and more likely that he will release some of the songs.

"Lewis spends a lot of time in the studio, works with big name collaborators and takes it all seriously. Formula One is still his number one priority but don’t be surprised if Lewis tries for a pop career, too," they added.

Following his recent break-up from on-off girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, it seems that Lewis could have a lot to write about when putting pen to paper.

Earlier this week, Lewis expressed his passion for music when he posted a picture of himself in the studio on his Instagram page.

He captioned the snap: "Other than being in a car, or anything with an engine, this is my favourite place to be. My fortress of solitude. It allows me to get away from it all, and let everything out creatively"

"I love music, and I love the process of making music. Maybe one day soon I'll let you hear something. #TeamLHMusic #Cooking."

Lewis was lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the industry's finest when he attended the 2015 BRIT Awards earlier this week.
