A "Janet Jackson missing" poster tweeted by a fan last week urging the Grammy-winning singer to produce some new music brought other online pleas for her return and a response from the now-reclusive pop star.
Jackson, 48, sister of late musical superstar Michael Jackson and winner of six Grammy Award for her own music, has been out of the public spotlight after marrying Middle East billionaire fashion tycoon Wissam Al Mana in 2012.
"Come back and show these young whippersnappers how it's done!" the Twitter post read. "We're not asking. We're BEGGING!"
James "Jimmy Jam" Harris, who along with Terry Lewis produced some of Jackson's biggest hits with her albums "Control" and "Rhythm Nation 1814," plugged the original post as well.
Love this! @JanetJackson is missing! CDFU:-) “@MyVelvetRope: ONE RETWEET COULD HELP BRING HER HOME! RT RT RT! pic.twitter.com/QaSyBfB7CF”

Cant stop laughing at this.
ReplyDeleteWe want Janet back too
Loyal fans? Rude. She's married to a billionaire, she's not bothered.
