Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson seems to be taking his job of Chief Football Officer for Alaska Airlines very seriously.

He's a Super Bowl champion, and a seriously nice guy.
On Wednesday night, he met Kane Bernas, a U.S. soldier who was flying back to Seattle. To thank him for his service, Wilson upgraded Bernas' seat to first class, a move that seemed to catch the soldier by surprise.

Kane Bernas, whose Twitter bio says he's from Simi Valley, California, gave Wilson "mad respect" for the move.

Wilson also took a minute to thank the flight crew. An Instagram photo from that night shows him smiling on the plane with a gaggle of Alaska Air employees. The caption reads, "Don't ever undervalue the importance of consistency."
