A fast food worker's act of kindness has touched hearts around the globe after being shared on social media.
Ridge Quarles, an employee at Qdoba Mexican restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky, was filmed feeding a disabled customer as she was unable to feed herself.
The video was filmed by customer David Jones and the video went viral after being uploaded to social media .
Ridge, who has left the restaurant since the footage was captured several weeks ago, told the local Wave 3 radio station , that the woman was a regular customer and he was glad to have brought a smile to people watching the clip.
Video after the cut.
He said: "Sadly enough she has to sit outside the restaurant until someone notices her or another customer that's coming in has to let her into the building.
"I had helped her through (the) line and sat her out in the lobby, got her a drink, got her utensils and napkin and kind of started to walk off and I was like, you know.
"Is there anything else I can help you with?' and she turned around and she was like, 'Sir, if you don't mind could you help me eat?'"
He has since written on Facebook: "Today I had the honor to accept public acknowledgment for helping someone else in need.
"I'm very glad to have had the opportunity to impact lives around me.
"Go out and help someone today and pay it forward.
"Happy day everyone!"
