Kris Jenner reveals why she thinks son Rob Kardashian's diabetes diagnosis was "almost a relief"

Kris Jenner has confessed that her son Rob Kardashian ’s diabetes diagnosis was “almost a relief”.
The momager, whose overweight son was rushed to hospital with the “quite serious” illness in December, is keeping positive about the condition.

In a chat with Access Hollywood, Kris explained why she thought that her 28-year-old son’s diagnosis isn’t always a bad thing.

She said: “Because then he can take all the steps. It was like a godsend, so it's all good."

The 60-year-old revealed that her son is facing a huge challenge to get back to being healthy
She said: "It's one thing to say, 'Oh, I'm going to get on the healthy path,' but then you really need to get on the healthy path.

“He's such a perfectionist. It's a big challenge for him now to turn all that around, but he can, and that's the good news. He can turn it around and and be in a much healthier place."

Earlier this week, Rob has broken his social media silence at last, posting a rare selfie just weeks after being diagnosed with diabetes.

The reclusive reality star, who hasn't been spotted in public for months, posted a close-up photo as he hid behind a ski scarf.

It comes amid claims Rob isn't taking his recent diabetes diagnosis seriously enough, and is refusing to alter his unhealthy lifestyle.

Sources say the Kardashian klan are deeply worried about overweight Rob, desperately fearing for his health.

It was thought the 28-year-old would shake up his lifestyle after being admitted to hospital and being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. According to TMZ ex sock designer Rob's condition is so serious he has to inject himself with insulin once a day.

Despite Khloe and Kris hiring Rob a full-time chef who specialises in diabetes diets, the recluse isn't budging and wont exercise.
