Terri-Marie Palmer, 23, posted a moaning message of her own on the social media site saying: ''He p***es me off sitting on Facebook, completely blanking me when I'm talking to him.''
Moments later the fiery redhead and snapped and plunged a bread knife into the heart of jobless Damon Searson as he checked his messages at their shared caravan in Heysham, Lancs.
Afterwards Palmer rang 999 and falsely claimed Searson, 24, had accidentally stabbed himself in the chest when they were "messing around."
But at Preston Crown Court, she wept as she was convicted of murder and jailed for life.
The jury heard the the couple had met at Palmer's hair salon the Costa Del Sol in Lancaster when he went in to get a haircut but they had a stormy on-off relationship.
He bought a new mobile phone and began adding topless selfie pictures on Facebook but when she posted a message saying: 'Gross' he retorted: ''Didn't expect any different to come out of your mouth fkn g*bshite.''
The couple eventually moved in together in July 2015 but in the days before his death a month later the pair began rowing on text.
In one text message Palmer said: "Crying myself to sleep for the second time this week and it's only Wednesday. Thanks Damon. I'm so angry and hurt I honestly want to f***ing stab you."
On the night of the killing on August 13 Palmer began moaning to a pal on a Facebook as Searson was also on his page adding friends.
She claimed she payed the rent while he spent money on a mobile phone and shopping and said she was planing to leave him and move back in with her mother.
In her post Palmer said: ''All he does is sits there and adds loads of girls. He's a f***ing little prick. I'm fuming with him."
Just after midnight on August 14 a neighbour at the caravan park heard the couple rowing before Palmer knocked on his door in a state of distress.
Searson was found lying on the floor, bleeding heavily from a wound to his chest. On the settee was a bread knife, covered in blood.
He was rushed to Lancaster Royal Infirmary where he died later.
When Palmer was told by police her boyfriend had died, she said: "I didn't mean for it to get him."
A 999 call made by Palmer was played to the jury in which she said Searson had asked her to throw the carving knife to him and it went in to his chest.
She said: "It's a carving knife. We literally only got it today. It's really f***ing sharp."
Palmer denied murder and claimed Searson was a binge drinker who was ''controlling'' and would check up on her.
She said: "I just wanted to make things work but he started to become a bit possessive over me.
"Wherever I was going, if it was just to the shop he had to be with me. I wasn't expecting to be with him 24/7.
"I tried to work harder to make more money but it was really hard.
"We wouldn't speak for ages then when we did talk he would be shouting and trashing rooms and then he would throw the phone.''
