Chelsea captain, John Terry, will miss the rest of the season after he picked up a red card in their 3-2 defeat at Sunderland on Saturday.
The former England international, will be suspended for two games as it is his second sending off of the season.
This means Terry will sit out Chelsea’s last two Premier League ties against Liverpool and champions, Leicester City.
The 35-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has not been offered a new deal at Stamford Bridge, leading to speculations that he might have played his last game for the Blues.
Terry has played 483 times in the Premier League for Chelsea, since he made his senior debut at 17. In that time, he has won the Champions League, four Premier League titles and five FA Cups.
