Papageorgiou was working concessions at the venue for his church before the 20-time Grammy winner’s show began. After his shift was finished, he decided to open the 1908 classic Danube Pilot.
Papageorgiou told ABC11 that his parents bought the book for him during a trip to Cairo, Egypt, 53 years ago. He estimates that he has read it seven or eight times.
The Greece native also explained that while he can appreciate Beyoncé’s talent, he is not a member of the Beyhive.
"I find Beyoncé a great show woman, very attractive. Her music? Eh, fine, but not my style,” he said. "I listen to '50s, '60s, '70s and a lot of Greek music.”
