Nollywood actor Imeh Bishop appointed special adviser to Akwa Ibom state governor.

Nollywood actor, Imeh Bishop has been appointed as a Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor On Ethical and Social Reorientation.
Popularly known as 'Okon', Imeh joins Ini Edo who was also appointed Special adviser on tourism in Akwa Ibom state.

Bishop confirmed the news today, May 6, 2016 writing,

"Yes it's true... been made Special Assistant To The Governor On Ethical and Social Reorientation, Akwa Ibom State. Thank you Gov Udom Emmanuel. Most above all, Thank you Jesus."

Imeh Bishop is a funny Nollywood actor from Nsit-Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

The 2008 Emem Isong-produced movie ‘Uyai,' drew attention to the actor. However, he became a household name after his character in the hilarious hit movies ‘Okon goes to Lagos’ ‘Okon Goes to School,’ among others.
He has been featured in over 100 movies.
