Eyewitness said the fight broke out along Mariam Banbagida Way in Asaba at about 9:30am when the two female corps members, after an exchange of abuses, engaged each other in fierce fight in which broken bottles were freely used and their clothes torn to shreds.
According to the eye witness, the fight between the corpers who incidentally are both graduates of Obafemi Awolowo University was caused by the alleged snatching of boyfriend by one of them.
The two corps’ members had reportedly attended an all-night party of a friend where one of them was wooed for a relationship by a lecturer at the state owned university.
