Great!!! Chiwetel Ejiofor Becomes First Nigerian Nominated For An Oscar.

 Its something to talk about, celebrate etc. I actually predicted British-Nigerian actor Chiwetel Ejiofor will be named as one of five nominees for the 86th Annual Academy Awards.*cough* The event will hold in March. Chiwetel was nominated for his role in 12 Years A Slave, his co-star Kenyan breakout star who was on the first series of MTV Shuga, Lupita Nyogo’o also bagged a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her first movie role in 12 Years A slave!

Chiwetel will have to contend with Christian Bale, Bruce Dern, Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey for the Best Actor award, while Lupita is up against Jennifer Lawrence, June Squibb, Julia Roberts and Sally Hawkins.
