The general overseer of RCCG at the beginning of the year, prophesied  that a new sexually transmitted disease will surface.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the beginning of the year, while releasing prophecies for the year 2016 said that a new sexually transmitted disease will surface.

Sadly, that has now become a reality. Scientists have warned that an outbreak is imminent.
The Zika virus is spread by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which also carries dengue fever and yellow fever.

Zika has been linked to thousands of babies being born with underdeveloped brains. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that pregnant women should avoid traveling to more than two dozen countries with Zika outbreaks, mostly in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Scientists have called on the WHO to heed lessons from the Ebola outbreak and convene an emergency committee of disease experts to combat the Zika virus.

They said a vaccine might be ready for testing in two years but it could be a decade before it is publicly available.

Zika, linked to shrunken brains in children, has caused panic across the Americas.

Many people will not show any symptoms after being affected and there is no known cure.  The only way to fight the virus is to protect against mosquito bites.
