Senator Abaribe Enyinaya representing Abia south federal constituency described the 2017 budget as a blind budget as he criticised the presidency for budgeting N123m to buy catering equipment after spending N94m for same catering equipment in 2016.
He also condemned the presidency for budgeting N756m for honorarium and welfare describing it as frivolous and wasteful. The senator highlighted these issues during a house sitting to examine the budget.
