Serial Burglar Who Picked Ajao Estate As Hunting Ground Almost Burnt Alive By Security Men But For The Timely Intervention By Residents

A serial thief identified later only as victor thought the ‘’cost was clear’’ that everyone was at work and decided to strike a compound on Karaa Street, Ajao Estate, Lagos but was spotted by security men while scaling the fence.  He was quickly given the tyre treatment and attempts were in its final stages to burn him alive when residents intervened to save his life. 

He later confessed that he had attacked the house twice before and he was on his third doomed mission when apprehended. Ajao estate is overlooked by Mafoluku to the west and a slum where hoodlums hangout to the right and burglars regularly cross into the high end estate to strike. 

“He told us that before he went to jail, he had robbed the same compound two times. When he got out of jail, he came back again to rob the compound,” he said. He was later handed over to Ajao-Estate Police Station.
