Kaduna College of Education CLOSED !!

Students who have been protesting the over bearing presence of security forces in the Kaduna State College of Education have been asked to go home because the college has been closed indefinitely.

The closure was announced by the registrar of the College Hassan Agya who said, the closure was as a result of the student's riotous behavior which lead to the destruction of properties ( school ambulance, security outpost, poultry, six vehicles and the ICT centre. ) and that normal academic activities will only resume after the situation is brought under total control.

It took the combined effort of the Nigerian Army and police to bring the 18hour protest to a stand still. Kaduna has also seen other forms of violence recently as a result of the strong hold of the Islamist sect Boko Haram on the state.

  3. They are so ignorant, how will this bring a change? I hate violence. We need to learn how to settle things without fighting.
