Anthony Tyron Mayo, 37, is facing murder charges for fatally beating his wife to death with a vacuum cleaner. The police arrested him in California on Tuesday in Jave city. He faces murder,coercion,and domestic battery charges for the death of 40-year-old Beverly McFarlane.
Police who responded to a North Las Vegas home in the 4300 block of Matinee Avenue on Aug. 10 says McFarlane reported her husband had strangled her before hitting her on the head with a vacuum cleaner two days earlier.
McFarlane was taken to University Medical Center and treated for a brain injury but died two weeks later.
Mayo is in Los Angeles awaiting extradition.
