Even Calls have been made by The House of Representatives since Thursday asking the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria and the Independent Broadcasting Association of Nigeria to withdraw the ban they placed on the air play of the songs of some Nigerian musicians, but till now, we are yet to hear these songs being played.
The ongoing feud is simple. The Copyright association of Nigeria protects members/artists from piracy and copyright and wants all radio stations to pay them millions if not billions for using its member's songs. Meanwhile, the Broadcasting Society of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcasting Society of Nigeria, IBAN, got tired of all the harassment from the copyright association and took a drastic step to ban all members of the Copyrights Society of Nigeria (COSON) songs. Now you will understand Mr Idibia's tweet about wanting chocolate and not paying for cocoa.
Hahaha I like that. Want some chocolate now. Lol
