Ebony Wilkerson claims that she was disoriented by her low blood sugar which resulted in her driving into the Atlantic Ocean.
Reports claim that Ebony Wilkerson’s blood sugar level was at 44 as measured by paramedics which is half of where it is supposed to range. The judge will also consider a potential violation after testing positive for alcohol in a urinalysis.
Wilkerson is being charged for 3 counts of attempted murder and child abuse towards each of her children but this may change due to state laws.
She did the deed and she has to face the consequences. Defense lawyers always have a bag of ready-made “see if it sticks” excuses. South Carolina has several cases of Mothers killing their children by driving them into bodies of water or leaving them “by mistake” in the car until they die of heat stroke. The courts also have a history of “generosity” in such cases which should not allow them to justify her actions.
