Student kills himself after he was asked to repeat the same class again.

A student identified as Clifford Odhiambo has taken his life after he was asked to repeat the same class again. The student had expressed desire to join the armed forces after sitting for his Kenya Certificate Of Secondary Examinations (KCSE) exams, but got the shock of his life after he was told to repeat the class.

According to Mpasho, the victim was a student Luora Secondary School in Homa Bay of Kenya. It was gathered that the student was denied the opportunity by his two teachers Ishmael Ngicho and Nicholas Aswani denied him a chance to join Form Four.
Odhiambo reportedly rushed home and ingested a substance believed to be a pesticide. He was taken to a nearby medical facility where he passed away.

The high school left behind a suicide in which he said that he would rather take his own life than repeat a class. The teachers in question have been interdicted by the Ministry since repeating classes had been banned by the government.
